BiLL's Prime
Seafood & Steaks

Our Story
Where it all began...
In 1960, a cozy little spot called Edna's Oyster Bar opened its doors, run by the beloved husband-and-wife duo,
Bill and Virginia "Ginny" Clark. It quickly became a late-night favorite for locals craving oysters, clams, shrimp, chicken baskets, fresh fish, and sandwiches of all kinds—not to mention the best cup of freshly brewed coffee in town.
As word spread and the crowd grew, so did Bill and Ginny's vision. They moved operations to the corner of Cleveland and Main Street, where Bill's Seafood Restaurant became a bustling neighborhood fixture. Early mornings brought in local fishermen, hunters, and travelers for hearty breakfasts, while lunch and dinner kept the tables full and the atmosphere lively. Long-time patrons still smile at the memory of the waitresses with their iconic beehive hairdos, adding a touch of charm to every meal.
In the early 1970s, after the nearby Hotel Russell was lost to a fire, the Clarks acquired the land and built a larger
space to welcome their growing fan base. That new restaurant, opened in 1973, still serves as our home today.
Ownership passed to the Malone family in the 1980s, who carried on the tradition of warm hospitality and great food. Then in 1996, the torch was passed once more—this time to current owners Kevin Krome and Steve Potts. Under their guidance, the restaurant evolved into something even more special: BiLL's PRIME Seafood & Steaks.
Today, BiLL's PRIME blends history with refinement—offering the freshest local seafood, natural Black Angus steaks, craft cocktails, an international wine list, and legendary desserts, all served in a relaxed, upscale setting.
Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic date night on the Eastern Shore,
